Mortgage Refinancing: Credit Bureau Info

Make sure before you obtain a copy of your credit report from a particular agency, that you research and find out if there are any fees involved. If you were denied by information based from a particular credit reporting agency, then you can obtain a free copy of your credit report. Make sure you check with each one first.

In addition, if you are writing to a credit reporting agency to obtain a copy of your report, most will require that you include your full name (including first, last, middle and any appropriate suffixes), addresses that you have had for the last two years, phone number, your social security number, date of birth, current employer information, an application fee (if necessary), and make sure and sign your request! They cannot release your credit information without a signature from you.

Hopefully, you will be able to apply for mortgage refinancing with a clean, credit report. Do not be discouraged if your credit report is not perfect. Apply for a free mortgage refinancing quote anyhow; you might be surprised at the mortgage refinancing results
